An experiential clinic where we will explore self-growth and reconnecting with ourselves and the world around us. In this full-day clinic, you will be learning about how your neurobiology affects your relationships and practice becoming aware of the way your body experiences interaction with the world around you. You will work with horses, mules, or donkeys, and two Equine Professionals who will introduce you to your nervous system’s automatic responses and help you explore what “safe” feels like in your body. Through your work with equine partners, you will be
provided with skills that you can take with you into your every-day life. No horse experience is required. This work will be ground-based (no riding) and the focus will not be on learning horsemanship. We will be outside all day, so please dress for Oregon weather; close-toed shoes are required. Please bring a sack lunch, there will not be time to leave the property during the lunch break. In observance of covid-19 protocols, masks will be required when social distancing cannot be observed. Note: Both clinicians are fully vaccinated. Refunds will not be provided for any cancellations with less than five (5) days notice. No auditors, due to the personal nature of this work.
