Winnie

Winnie is an approximately 20 year old mini molly mule. She stands small but mighty at 40 inches.  Miss Winnie is current on farrier care, dental care and vaccinations.  She was rescued from a neglectful home during the 2020 wildfires with feet severely overgrown and a genuine fear of humans. She has come a long way thanks to her foster people and is now thriving!

Winnie has a club foot so is a companion only girl.  She is a very easy keeper and does not require any special diet or medications. She enjoys keeping company with the big horses and does not get upset when they are taken away for a trail ride and she is left at home.  Winnie enjoys a good brushing and has been known to fall asleep during her ‘beauty shop time’.

Winnie speaks the language of a mule and has done great in her foster home where they also speak mule. This means giving her time to process what you are asking of her and allowing her time to agree. Winnie would do best in a home that also understands this process of thinking and doesn’t rush her.  What you get in exchange for your understanding is THE most adorable and intelligent lady mule you will ever know!

Winnie the mini hinny has been adopted by her long time fosters John and Cindy Stephens.
