Nazeeri

Nazeeri was rescued during the 2020 Wildfires and in our eyes, this girl is an absolute Phoenix. Her elderly human passed away just a day before the fires started and she was left in her paddock with rescue unable to enter to retrieve her. We all sat on pins and needles as the fire was far too close to her property to allow vehicles by.
Lots of sweat and prayers later, a neighbor was finally let back in and there she was! Standing in her paddock in the thick smoke patiently waiting for her Chariot out of there.
We are grateful to have Miss Nazeeri under our care now and want to thank her loving neighbors for risking their well-being to go back in and get her, and for her mama’s son for being so diligent on contacting us and supporting her transition to Zebs Wish.

This lovely lady is now in a loving foster home with her first horse friend in many years. She is receiving appropriate health care and management of her Cushing’s disease and sore tootsies.
