Breed- Hackney/Shetland Pony

Age-5 Story- Bear is a 5-year-old paint pony gelding. Bear is a willing pony who likes to do obstacle courses and show off his skills. He’ll follow you anywhere for a treat and even helps himself to your pocket of goodies. He is not pushy or overbearing and is respectful of your personal space. Bear is easy to catch in the field and he quickly recovers from stressful situations and is able to move on to the next task at hand. He is not on any special feed, supplements or medications. He stands nicely for the farrier, loads nicely, and is current on all medical care. Bear is a very good boy. Together with his brother, Remi, Bear was adopted in July 2019.

Bear, along with his best friend Remi, came from a severe neglect and starvation situation. These boys have become great friends, following each other everywhere, eating meals together, taking naps together and enjoying each other’s company. We would love for these boys to stay together.
